The Real Rick Santorum
In 2003, then-Sen. Rick Santorum (R-Penn.) cut a back-room deal with high-powered lobbyists to introduce legislation to limit freedom of speech on American college campuses.
Proposing to rewrite the federal funding formula under Title IX of the Higher Education Act to include what was called “ideological diversity” as a prerequisite, Santorum’s intent was to cut federal funding for American universities that allowed professors, students and student organizations to criticize Israel in class or in other open campus forums.
It’s Tight in Iowa
With more plot twists than a daytime soap opera, the long, strange road leading to Iowa’s Jan. 3 caucuses has seen scandals, embarrassments, surprises and a jockeying for position among frontrunners that has been ever changing on a weekly basis. The big question that must be asked is: Have American voters been duped by the manipulative use of polls to prepare them to accept a candidate that has already been selected for them?
Major Free Speech Victory
The latest legal assault on the First Amendment of the Bill of Rights by U.S.-based pro-Israel Jews was dismissed by a federal judge on Dec. 27. The lawsuit was filed in order to snuff out criticism on the University of California’s Berkeley (UCB) campus of the Zionist state’s vile policies of  Palestinian persecution.
Unreported by the mainstream media was the other attorney listed in the complaint, N.Y.-based Neal M. Sher.
Fed’s Covert Bailouts Exposed
In an article published by The Wall Street Journal on Wed. Dec. 28, ex-Fed vice president of the Dallas Federal Reserve Bank, Gerard P.  O’Driscoll Jr., accused Ben Bernanke of being engaged in a covert bailout of European banks by the Fed.
O’Driscoll, currently a senior fellow at the Cato Institute, said the Fed’s “temporary liquidity swap” arrangement with the European Central Bank (ECB) is in reality a thinly veiled transfer of U.S. dollars to European banks. This financial arrangement has been designed to confuse observers, he said, and has largely succeeded in the United States, due to the media not talking about it, whereas in Europe it is widely discussed.
Federal Grants Pay to Militarize Local Cops
Since Sept. 11, 2001, thousands of communities across the nation have taken advantage of more than $34 billion in central government grants to equip police and sheriffs’ departments with assault rifles and exotic weaponry.
In 2011 alone, approximately $2 billion in grants were awarded by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), along with $500 million more allocated to existing programs.

America’s War in Yemen
While much of the media focus has been elsewhere, two secret wars are being fought in Yemen by the U.S., Saudi Arabia and Israel.
For several years, U.S. Special Forces and the CIA, with the support of Yemen’s president, Ali Abdullah Saleh, have launched hundreds of drone attacks against alleged Islamists. At the same time, the Saudis have fought against Shiite tribesmen in the north, claiming they are financed by Iran and will link up with Shiites in Saudi Arabia to attack its oil fields. In 2009, the Saudis sent an invasion force into Yemen, killing hundreds of tribesmen.
