Dear Piotr,
I am writing to you because, in the past, you have donated generously. If you follow the website, you know that it experienced a harsh attack on July 2012. In the last few days, I finished the transition of the website between two different providers. It has been a race against time since all its pages needed to be updated. For a while, I worked with both providers, even if to the visitors everything looked normal. This complex transition was the result of the former supplier’s refusal to change my FTP password after the attack begun. Wickedly, he did so for a fortnight. During this period, the website was attacked nine aditional times; thus, I begun the transition to roitov.com. Now, everything is functional again and better than it was. There are over 500 pages and files available and it keeps growing. The main domain is now http://www.roitov.com; roytov.com and sumaqhana.com function as secondary ones.
Unluckily, this demanded extraordinary efforts and resources. It was done while experiencing the daily harassment described in the Cross of Bethlehem II; it is difficult to explain in a short letter the implications of working in such conditions. As of now, I am defined as a political prisoner of the Evo Morales regime, for the joy of Israel; bribing Bolivia is cheap. International human rights NGO’s don’t get involved in cases related to Israel unless there is a loud enough international outcry. Thus, I am trapped in Bolivia with little chance of leaving the place alive.
This extraordinary situation depleted my resources; the regular activity of the website and the sale of books in Amazon won’t be able to keep me afloat. If the situation keeps on like this, next month I will be sleeping on the streets. I need to raise an additional $1,500 in order to function as usual until the end of the year.
